Local Community Coordinators and Volunteers

The local community coordinators work in collaboration with the chairman of each geographic region of the county. These coordinators help organize the volunteers, events, republican organizations, and literature drops in the cities and townships of Butler County to establish grass roots, community based support.

Yard Sign Coordinators

The yard sign coordinators are often the hardest working members of the team. When Mike Fox begins asking voters if he can place an election sign in their yard, it is the job of the yard sign coordinator to keep a record of the name and location of each person giving permission for a sign location. As the campaign moves along, thousands and thousands of yard signs are put in place throughout the county. The coordinator is responsible for the transportation and installation of the yard signs during the election cycle and is in charge of their removal and storage once the election is over.

Events Coordinator and Volunteers

The events coordinator keeps a schedule of public and private events that Mike will attend. Often the event coordinator will follow the newspapers, Chamber of Commerce publications, and local news to determine the events that are beneficial to attend. Event volunteers are individuals who attend events with Mike to show support.

Media Coordinator and Volunteers

The media coordinator creates the media briefs on local issues and has all contact with the press. The volunteers are responsible for clipping articles in the newspaper and video or audio taping broadcasted events.

Fundraising Volunteers

We have had many successful fundraisers like our golf outing and steak grill out. The volunteers assist in planning several fundraising events each election cycle. They make important decisions about the event including the theme, budget, host committee, invitations, food selection, invitation list, ticket price, location, date, and time of each event.
